# Media kit

Everything on this page is approved for use in press coverage, partner materials, event programmes and conference listings.

Download what you need and follow the guides in each section. If you need something that isn't here, such as a different file format or a product screenshot, contact our media team using the details at the bottom of this page.

## Boilerplate

We have two official company descriptions. Please use them word for word and avoid paraphrasing.

**Short.** Solcis is the open compliance layer for AI, enforcing compliance obligations on every AI agent action. Its platform is sovereign by design and runs entirely on the customer's infrastructure.

{% hint style="info" %}
Use the short version in listings, bylines and event programmes.
{% endhint %}

**Long.** Solcis is the open compliance layer for AI, built for regulated organisations. It enforces obligations and business rules on every AI agent action, extends existing security guardrails to compliance, and records every decision as tamper-evident evidence. Solcis runs entirely on the customer's own infrastructure, and the engine behind it is free to deploy and audit. Learn more at solcis.ai.

{% hint style="info" %}
Use the long version when you have space for a full paragraph.
{% endhint %}

## Logo guidelines

Our full logo combines the Solcis icon with the Solcis name.

Use it wherever there's room, and choose the version with the strongest contrast against your background.

### Using the mark on its own

Use the icon without the Solcis name only when the name already appears nearby, or when the space is too small or too square for the full logo.

App icons, social media avatars and favicons are typical examples.

<figure><img src="https://1206242861-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FaB61LE0KrLpKfbWE6bCz%2Fuploads%2F75jCdkKm31B9PGvTDI6o%2Fpreview-mark-gradient.svg?alt=media" alt="Solcis mark in gradient on a dark background"><figcaption><p>The mark in gradient, preferred for dark backgrounds</p></figcaption></figure>

### Downloads

All downloadable files are SVG, a vector format that scales to any size without losing quality.

The gradient version uses a white Solcis name, so it's for dark backgrounds only.

### Logo spacing and size

**Clear space.** Leave empty space around the logo on all four sides, equal to half the height of the icon. Keep text, lines, image edges and other logos out of this area.

**Minimum size.** Don't reproduce the full logo smaller than 82 pixels wide on screen or 25 mm wide in print. Don't reproduce the icon on its own smaller than 24 pixels. Below these sizes, the gaps within the icon start to fill in and the logo becomes hard to read.

## Colour palette

<figure><img src="https://1206242861-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FaB61LE0KrLpKfbWE6bCz%2Fuploads%2FmQAFnvduapec84lqGySE%2Fpalette.svg?alt=media" alt="Solcis colour palette: coral, teal, ink and the teal-to-coral gradient"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

| Colour | Hex       | RGB           |
| ------ | --------- | ------------- |
| Coral  | `#ED584D` | 237, 88, 77   |
| Teal   | `#71B6D0` | 113, 182, 208 |
| Ink    | `#000000` | 0, 0, 0       |
| White  | `#FFFFFF` | 255, 255, 255 |

The gradient runs vertically from teal at the top to coral at the bottom, and is used only within the mark. Please don't apply it to type, rules or backgrounds.

## What not to do

1. **Colour.** Don't recolour the logo, including filling it with a brand colour or a colour taken from a photograph.
2. **Ratio.** Don't stretch, squash, rotate or skew the logo.
3. **Effects.** Don't add shadows, glows, outlines or bevels.
4. **Composition.** Don't pair the icon with your own text, or change the spacing between the icon and the Solcis name.
5. **Contrast.** Don't place the black logo on a dark background or the white logo on a light one. Switch to the other version instead.
6. **Placement.** Don't place the logo over a busy area of a photograph where the icon becomes hard to see.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.solcis.ai/references/media-kit.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
